I like photography, I like recording gay related issues and forum. I like collecting stickers from gay pride parade and conferences. For me, coming out is a process of confirming yourself and knowing yourself. I was teased at because of who I am at school. I've always thought I was different from others. I participated in gay pride, LGBT hotline and Disabled+Queer for the first time it made me realized who I am for the first time. I feel happy and free during the process.

"Mom, I know you are worried that I haven't had a girlfriend, and no one is going to look over me when I'm old. But I want to tell you that I have a boyfriend whom I've been dating for seven years. We are very stable, don't worry. I am good." That was five years ago when I was on the scooter with my mom while waiting for the red light. I chose to come out because I want to let my family know that I am doing well. I also want to introduce my new self to them. However, after coming out, my mom kept trying to push me back to the closet. My mom is a traditional woman. My dad passed away from a car accident when I was nine. Mom doesn't know about gay people very well. There was no one to consult either. She did not have an answer when neighbors asked about if I was seeing anyone. My next goal is to take my mom to a queer forum and activities, hoping she would walk out of the unspoken closet.
