I have been out since middle school. Of course, I get nervous when there is discrimination, interviews, for example. But the positive memories always exceed the bads. Quite often I think to myself, "I am so glad to be gay". Because I am, it gives me more love, fun, kindness, and like-minded people around me. If you look closer and not give up, you will meet people who give you courage when you go through all the ups and downs. It takes time to find your people, do not give up!
