I had limited information while growing up. That resulted in truly knowing myself at the age of 30, and joining the community in the hope of make a good use of myself in my 40s. Now I am 50 years old, still pulled between the openness and misconception. Fortunately, time is on our side. After 20 years of equal gender education, Taiwan became the most LGBT friendly country in Asia. I am deeply proud of it, at the same time hoping the education will continue.
