When we met for the first few times, we spent many nights on the rainbow bridge. You were drinking beer while I had wine. We talked about some light topics, some heavy; the past and our future dreams. It was a comfortable balance between us. The unspoken smoke was floating in the air while we looked at the planes and stars in the sky, feeling the silence of the city. It can be wild with you. We like to go dance in the club. You get more attention when there are two girls on the dancefloor. One night, you were in the middle of the dancefloor, the music was deafening. You looked at me with your dreamy eyes. You walked one more stept towards me and asked if I want to be with you. I nodded as my face turned red. You kissed on my lips. We belonged to each other from that night.

I have never defined myself. I only knew I like a person no matter their genders. And this person happened to be a girl. I live an uncomfortable life before coming out to the closet. I ask myself what it means to have self-acceptance every day. I was scared when people would introduce guys to me and ask about my relationship. I was scared that I was going to live a life like what they told me to. Eventually, I confessed to my parents that I like girls. Luckily, my friends and family were supportive of it. I felt like I was reborn. I am loveing myself more and seeing rainbow colors now.
