I went from when LGBT was still a taboo to openness in Taiwan. There was limited information back then, I felt I was different from the rest, but couldn't come to a conclusion of who I truly was. Later on, I get to know more about myself via television, internet, and magazines. The most memorable thing was when many LGBT communities stepped out to the public and expressed that they were no different from the rest. Even though I do not remember their names, because of them, I realized that I was not the only special one. I am doing great. I'd like to give credits to those who actively came out to the public. They provided me with the strength to do so. Now I have the chance to be the one to provide more, I'd like to pass on the courage I once received to the ones will need in the future.
